First Visit – The start of a partnership

Thank you for choosing our practice. Our comfortable and warm environment will make you feel confident in the level of dental care you receive. You will need to complete insurance, dental history and health history information to begin your dental treatment. This can be done prior to your dental appointment on-line or in our office on a digital tablet. Our staff can help you with this process.

Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. This visit will help us get acquainted with each other and learn about your goals and desires for your dental treatment. Generally, x-rays will be taken, allowing your doctor to fully assess the health of your teeth and bones. Oral hygiene instruction will be reviewed. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth at this visit and provide a plan that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

We believe that good dental care begins with open communication. We will clearly explain your diagnosis, required dental treatment, as well as alternative options. Our recommendations will always be carefully outlined for your understanding. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership, with one common goal–keeping your smile healthy and beautiful.

Financials

Providing you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget is important to us. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards. Special financial arrangements may be made in advance when more expensive treatment is necessary. If you have any questions about financing or payment, ask us. We will review your choices and partner with you to accommodate your needs.

Insurance — Every policy is different

Insurance claims are promptly submitted to your insurer. Your co-payment is due at the time of your visit. No insurance company covers all dental costs and benefits vary with each policy. Typically our staff is able to access your policy’s coverage online or you can bring your insurance information to your first visit.

In the interest of keeping the lines of communications open, we welcome your comments and are willing to openly discuss our policies with you. Our goal is to build open avenues of communication that foster your trust and a good relationship.
